In fact, there are many details that need to be maintained and serviced during the actual use of diesel generator sets. This requires users to standardize the operation during the actual use of the units. The following introduces the regular maintenance and service of diesel generator sets:

1. The diesel generator set should be checked every 6-8 hours for long-term operation, and once again after the standby unit is shut down. The new unit should be checked for 200-300 hours of operation, valve clearance and injector. Drain the accumulated water in the oil-water separator every 50 hours of operation, and check the electrolyte level of the starting battery. Replace the lubricating oil and lubricating oil filter every 50-600 hours of operation or at least every 12 months; the lubricating oil replacement cycle of the unit will also vary depending on the quality of the lubricating oil, the sulfur content of the fuel, and the lubricating oil consumed by the engine.

2. In addition, every 400 hours of operation of the diesel generator set, check and adjust the transmission belt, and replace it if necessary; check and clean the radiator chip; and drain the sludge in the fuel tank. Every 800 hours of operation, replace the oil-water separator; replace the fuel filter; check whether the turbocharger is leaking; check whether there is any leakage in the intake pipe; check and clean the fuel pipe. Every 1200 hours of operation, adjust the valve clearance. Every 2000 hours of operation, replace the air filter; replace the coolant; thoroughly clean the radiator chip and waterway of the water tank. Every 2400 hours of operation, check the injector; thoroughly check and clean the turbocharger; and fully check the engine equipment. 3. Maintenance and care of the generator set. The inside and outside of the AC generator should be cleaned regularly, and the frequency of cleaning depends on the environment where the unit is located. When cleaning is necessary, follow the steps below: disconnect all power supplies, wipe off all dust, dirt, oil stains, water or any liquid on the surface, and clean the ventilation net, because these things will enter the coil and cause the coil to overheat or damage the insulation. It is best to use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and dirt, and do not use air blowing or high-pressure water spray to clean.
